Sensors Expo & Conference 2009

Located at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL, Sensors Expo is co-located with the International Robots, Vision & Motion Control Show. Attendees of one event gain access to both.

New at this year's Sensors Expo is an Energy Harvesting Pavilion, which includes vendors providing energy harvesting and power management solutions for capturing, converting, storing and delivering energy in a form that can be used to provide the power needed by the system it serves. The pavilion includes an application showcase theater that will feature presentations by:

  • Steven W. Arms, president, MicroStrain. "Synchronized Energy Harvesting Sensor Networks."
  • Jerry Ruddle, Executive VP & General Manager, Advanced Cerametrics. "Practical Energy Harvesting."
  • Jeff Sather, VP Applications Engineering, Cymbet Corp. "Optimizing the Energy Harvesting Power Chain."
  • Susan Wooley, CEO, Micro/Sys. "Stackable USB: The Greener Connection."
  • Plus presentations  by Microchip, Tadiran Batteries, Infinite Power Solutions, and Powercast.

Access to the expo hall is free, and includes more than 175 vendors. Conference admission ranges from $150 for a single session to $1,595 for the complete conference package.
